2020 RSM Classic Expert Analysis – PGA Betting

Just one week after world No. 1 Dustin Johnson took home the coveted green jacket by winning the prestigious 2020 Masters, the PGA Tour is back in action as the 2020 RSM Classic gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 19, live from Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simons Island in Georgia.

With a handful of the world’s top players teeing it up in this fun-filled event, let’s find out which ones are offering the best chances to cash in on their value-packed PGA odds.

PGA Tour Betting Analysis – The 2020 RSM Classic Odds & Predictions

  • When: Nov. 19-22
  • Where: Sea Island Golf Club, St. Simons Island in Georgia.
2020 RSM Classic Odds to Win
Webb Simpson +1000
Tyrrell Hatton +1800
Sungjae Im +2000
Tommy Fleetwood +2200
Matthew Fitzpatrick +2800
Russell Henley +2800
Jason Day +2800
Harris English +3000
Louis Oosthuizen +3000
Sebastian Munoz +3500
Joaquin Niemann +3500
Shane Lowry +3500
Kevin Kisner +4000
  • Harris English +3000

While no one is really mentioning the 31-year-old Georgia native as a legitimate challenger to win this coming weekend, I like the world No. 34’s chances seeing as how he’s recorded three Top 30 finishes in four events played this season. English kicked off the current season by finishing a stellar fourth in the U.S. Open before missing the cut in the Shriners Open. He rebounded nicely though by finishing 10th in the CJ Cup and T28 in his last event in the Zozo Championship last month. Yes, he’s flying under the radar right now, but at +3000, i think English is well worth a wager MyBookie golf betting faithful!

  • Jason Day +2800

I know the 33-year-old Australian missed the cut at last week’s Masters, but I remain unperturbed. Day started off his 2020-21 season by finishing T38 in the U.S. Open before missing the cut in the Shriners Open and then, withdrawing from the CJ Cup, but he finished a decent T60 in the Zozo Championship and an even more encouraging T7 in the Houston Open. Day ranks 67th in driving average (305.2) and 65th in scoring average (70.6) and I believe last week’s disappointing finish at Augusta will give him the impetus he so clearly needs to get his act together in what looks like a winnable RSM CLassic. At +2800, I think the 2015 PGA Championship winner is well worth a wager here!

  • Louis Oosthuizen +3000

The 38-year-old South African and current world No. 20 has been rock-solid in four events played this season, starting with a stellar third place finish in the U.S. Open.  Oosthuizen backed up that performance by finishing T19 in the Shriners Open, T48 in the CJ Cup and an encouraging T23 in the Masters last weekend. More importantly, Oosthuizen knows the course at Sea Island Resort quite well after finishing fourth there in the 2011 McGladrey Classic with four rounds in the 60s. At a value-packed +300 and riding the wave of fur straight Top 50 finishes, Oosthuizen is completely and utterly worth a wager in the 2020 RSM Classic.

  • Webb Simpson +1000

The 35-year-old North Carolina native and world No. 6 has been in absolutely fantastic form in finishing T17 or better in each of his last four tournaments including last week’s Masters where he finished a fantastic T10. Prior to that, Simpson finished T17 at the Zozo Championship, T13 at the Shriners Open and T8 in the U.S. Open. Simpson ranks 10th in driving accuracy (72.3%), 41st in eagles (96.0), 48th in birdie average (4.38) and a stellar seventh in scoring average (69.4). Simpson might not be my top choice to win this event, but he’s going to have a damned good chance – and even at +1000 odds, he’s well worth a wager.

  • Sungjae Im +2000

The 22-year-old South Korean and current world No. 8 might not be the prohibitive favorite in this event, but I’m thinking he should be. In seven events played this season, Im finished T22 in the U.S. Open, T28 in the Sanderson farms Championship, T13 in the Shriners Open. T45 in the CJ Cup, T 41 in the Zozo Championship, T50 in the Vivint Houston Open and a stupendous T2 in last week’s Masters while shooting three rounds in the 60s to finish five shots behind winner Dustin Johnson.

This dude might not hit it as far as some of the longest drivers in the world (301.9, 94th), but he hits it straight 66.6 percent of the time (39th) while ranking 47th in G.I.R, 62nd in birdie average (4.29) and 38th in scoring average (701). The 2019 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year looks like he’s ready to find his way into the winner’s circle after his outstanding performance at Augusta last weekend, making Im my pick to win and cash in at the 2020 RSM Classic!

MyBookie’s software and lines are in line with other books, but they really stand out with the promotions. They are more frequent and offer better deals than their competitors. I’ll never go back to another book.

I have had a great experience with this site. Deposit and payout methods are fairly easy. Betting is pretty self explanatory as well. Anytime I’ve had any issues (and I’ve had a few due ti my own ignorance at times) customer service has been wonderful and extremely helpful.
